There are a lot of weight loss opinions out there but one thing everyone can agree on, is a mindset. Weight loss will not happen if you don’t have a positive mindset and you are actively working towards your success.
I wanna talk about how mental health affects weight loss and give you some tips for maintaining that positive mindset,
First, if you’re ready to experience a weight loss success that thousands of other Code Red Rebels have and are currently experiencing.
You can’t expect positive results when your mind isn’t in a positive place. Here are some suggestions for keeping your mentality in check while you’re losing weight. Start your day with positivity. Instead of reaching for your phone, do something first in the morning that makes you feel calm, relaxed, and ready for the day.
I have the Code Red Success Journal that is really great for actually writing down things that are on your mind, writing down three things that you’re most proud of, and keeping track of your feelings throughout the day. There are a lot of positive aspects to actually writing things down with a pen, so I suggest you do that.
Also, words of affirmation. What are you saying to yourself in the mirror in the mornings? You might think this is hippity-dippity or corny, but I would love for you to say the words to yourself like, “I am beautiful, I am smart, “I am getting healthier every day.” Look at yourself in the mirror and say that out loud. Believe it or not, I do that each day. Turn failures into lessons. I learned a saying with Code Red and that is never a waste of a crisis.
Learn from it, move forward, don’t repeat it again. If the scale doesn’t say what you want it to say, own up to anything that’s been going on. Maybe you slipped up last night, or the night before, but own up to those choices and learn from them. Lean on our support system.
The Code Red community is strong. We have thousands and thousands, tens of thousands of people that are there to link arms with you, come around you, love you, and support you, and hold you up through your crisis, through your struggle, or whatever is going on. So don’t go at this alone, in fact, you can’t go at this alone. You need the support of the community.
So please reach out to us for help and let us love you until you can love yourself. Weight loss is all about mindset. If your mind isn’t focused and in check, you’re gonna slip. You’re not going to be motivated to succeed. Lean on our support system and remember your goals, remember your why, and you’ll be well on your way to weight loss success.
